Romanesque Days at the Church of St. James in Söles, Glorenza

On the occasion of the Romanesque Days, a free guided tour of the church of San Giacomo near Söles in Glorenza will take place at 2 p.m. (in German)

Starts at 2 p.m. at the information office - Tubre tower

This special cultural monument is located on the slope of a Mura cone.
In 1993, archaeologists discovered an earlier building with a round apse under the church floor and recovered numerous fragments of Romanesque frescoes.
Today, the Byzantine frescoes are visible in the renovated church.
